  2.             hDC Power Toolboxes 1.0

  5. This document describes hDC Power Toolboxes, a set of toolboxes for
  6. many popular Windows applications.
  7.  
  8. Some notes before you begin the install program:
  9.  
  10.      *    Power Toolboxes requires 1.2MB of disk space on your
  11.         destination drive.  
  12.  
  13.      *  The Install program is incompatible with the DOS FASTOPEN.EXE
  14.     utility. If you have this program loaded, you must rename it
  15.         and restart your computer.  After you've completed the 
  16.         installation, you can restore it to its original name and reboot.
  17.  
  18.      *  If you're using an international language version of an hDC product,
  19.         please note that installing Power Toolboxes will overwrite HDCLIB.DLL,
  20.         causing some error messages to appear in English instead of the
  21.         language of the international version.  Your international product
  22.         will not otherwise be affected.

  25. To install Power Toolboxes on your computer, follow these simple steps:
  26.     
  27.      1. If Windows is not already running, type "win" at the DOS
  28.         prompt, and press ENTER.  (Note: You must have Microsoft 
  29.         Windows already set up on your computer before installing
  30.         Power Toolboxes.)
  31.  
  32.      2. Insert your Power Toolboxes diskette into drive A: or B:.
  33.  
  34.      3. Choose the File menu in either Program Manager or the File Manager.
  35.  
  36.      4. Select the Run... command to display the Run dialog box.
  37.  
  38.      5. Type "a:install" or "b:install" and press ENTER.
  39.  
  40.      6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  41.  
  42. After installing Power Toolboxes, start it by running "<path>\pwrtool.ma"
  43. from your Windows shell (where <path> is the full path name of directory
  44. containing PWRTOOL.MA), and use the File/Open command to open TBOX42.TBL.
  45. Make sure the "Switch with App" option is enabled.  Minimize the Power Toolbox
  46. main window to activate the floating toolbox and you're all set!  Be sure to
  47. click on the first button in the floating toolbox (which says PUSH ME!) for
  48. more information about Power Toolboxes.
